The Wessex Violin Company has been selling violins since 1939. Based near Salisbury Plain, the Company produces English made violins, violas and cellos for the global market.
The model XV violin is made from selected materials giving a robust sound. Two piece back of figured Balkan maple with ribs and scroll in a similar wood. The table is Bavarian spruce with varnish of a rich chestnut brown on a gold ground.
The label inside this violin reads " The Wessex Vln Co, Made in England, Model XV Addition 2011 serial no 12"
