4/4 Modern Violin from the workshop of Pierre Marcel, copy of 1716 "Messiah" Stradivari

The Pierre Marcel range of contemporary instruments are expertly made for the advanced student or early professional players. The back and sides are made from Bosnian maple and a choice spruce is used for the top. The varnish is antiqued and very well applied.

This violin has a clear tone, good projection and an attractive, rich sound. This instrument is inspired by Stradivari’s masterful ‘Messiah’ violin.
